ILLUMILOTI IGNISIS

Consisting of a group of lotus flowers, this installation floats on the surface of the water. The lotus, deeply rooted in Eastern cultures, symbolizes peace, purity and calmness. The installation embodies these concepts with its form and slow shift of lights through the color spectrum. The three larger flowers emit flames from the center representing a release of energy. The composition with the three large and six smaller flowers, illuminate the surface of the water creating a beautiful and captivating experience for the audience.

With three sharp towers, Spiruvious rises from the surface like a biomechanicanical organism from an ailien world. The three spires are tipped with flame cannons controlled by the audience on the ground. The spires surround a hexagonal pod. Both the pod and the spires are adorned with hemispherical acrylic light fixtures that shift slowly throught the spectrum. The sound system emits menacing utters of the the piece’s inception. The sculpture creates an amazing interactive space.

With charm and grace the Lilycups float on the surface engaged in their eternal dance. Like a surreal tea party the sculpture embodies the organic and man-made to tell an elegant and wonderful story. These mutated lilies pay homage to one of natures most precious plants and one of mans oldest rituals. Three large stainless steel cups are at the center of the composition. Five acrylic cups surround them. The composition is completed by 21 pads of three concentric sizes. With its three flame effects and 11,400 LEDs the sculpture illuminates its surroundings.

Inspired by the structure, form, and life cycle of cacti, this piece combines the organic and mechanical. The structure is comprised of 13 stalks of varying heights arranged in a cluster on a hexagonal base. The stalks have three states representative of the three stages of a plant’s life cycle, the sprouts, the buds, and the flower. The audience is encouraged to control the flame effects from the ground.

Like a desert thorn Fuego Arbori rises from the landscape. The sculpture is made of a crown of branches surrounding a bulbus cage. The crown and cage are perched 14’ in the air on three root/truss like legs. The sculpture comes to life when lit on fire. A total of 54 fire tips adore the ends of the branches. Each branch houses a flame cannon controlled by pulling on one of six corresponding chains. The cage has a super effect that is triggered at different times of operation. The sculpture is highly interactive and always a lot of fun.

Pinea Arbori is the devine feminine. A concept aimed at representing vibrations within the brains of living organisms. The sculpture features a crown of 16 branches. At the center is a blooming lotus that reveals a central cage. Inside is housed a Tesla coil. The coil is controlled by the audience at a keyboard located at ground level. The sculpture comes to life with the unmistakable sound of a Tesla coil, eight anamatronic and illuminated lotus pedals, and 68 glowing orbs. The piece is sure to delight audiences.

Globus is an elegant composition of globe tipped stalks resting on an octagonal slanted base. The piece is topped with a splitting pod flame fixture. The fixture houses a small flame emitter controlled from the ground. The lights shifts through the spectrum of color creating an enchanting lighting effect.

This sculpture is the first of a series of medium scale work designed to be placed in private homes, offices, restaurants, and other commercial spaces. The piece is made of stainless steel and PMMA acrylic. It sits on an 18” cube base, made of powder coated mild steel. The piece draws inspiration for its form from the floral world. It comes to life at night displaying its slow shift through the spectrum of light. A limited run of 100 units will be made to order.

NOMADLAND WALLS

This installation was part of environmental design created for Electric Daisy Carnival 2021. The installation consists of 69 decorative panels. The panels are used to create micro areas within a larger space. Each panel is 5’ wide by 10-12’ high. The whole installation was around 350 linear feet. The walls were divided into six different design directions. There are the hubcaps, found round objects, cabinets and drawers, bicycle parts, plastic mosaic, and auto body parts. They all shares similar features making the space look continuous despite the slight changes in aesthetic.

PENTAFLORA HERBAFERRUM

TPentaflora Herbaferrum is a 16’ fire and light sculpture. It is comprised of 10 stalks in varying heights each topped with a pentagonal fixture. The top four fixtures feature flame effects, while the bottom six, have LED systems. There are two different flame effect systems. At the very top is an emitter effect. This is controlled by a button on the ground accessible by the users. The three lower fixtures are eternal flame effects. The remaining six LED fixtures compliment the flame effects as they slowly shift through the spectrum of color.

The post and barrel beacons of inferno avenue were a fabrication project with conceptual direction from our client. We designed, engineered, fabricated, and operate the installation. The seven fixtures are made up of a fire barrel siting on top of a post surrounded by illuminated bench seating.

CUBISIMOS URBANO

Cubisimos Urbano explores the idea of artificial lifeforms. The 15 foot piece juxtaposes the mechanical with the organic, it strives to mimic and understand the forces of nature that suround us. Like most living organisms its name has roots in Latin. Cubisimos comes from the cube pods that terminate each branch and Urbano symbolizes urban foliage. The sculpture’s 17 light fixtures shift gradually through the spectrum of light representing the vibrations of life. Through the shift in light the sculpture creates a serene and enchanting environment.

TRANSMISSIONS

Transmissions is part of a stage set design for the band Megascopes. The band is made of aliens that have been receiving our transmissions and have come to earth and are now regurgitation these signals through the music they create. The concept is that these trees are an attempt for them to call home. The two trees feature three antenna each and a total of 5 TV set that all play the same piece of content (Under Zebrinski Point – Anthony Bondi). This content is a 3hr video collage that reinforces the concept of radio signals traveling through the universe.
